Went to a pay and play today with my mate, was pretty rediculous :D gloopy sloppy mud everywhere. Loads of tracks, bomb holes u name it. Got stuck a couple if times, but avoided the rediculous bomb holes as u needed a winch to get out. Terrano didn't let me down it I do need a suspension lift as soon as !!

Mates amarok is a seriously nice truck and tbh was every bit if not a bit more capable as my Terrano with all its electrics diff locks and traction aids and he's not shy of chucking his £30k truck right deep into the shit :lol

.

Learned a lot about mud. Don't be tempted to lock it over you have to go with the ruts and keep momentum up, bounce it hard, don't spin tho, just use your torque so it's just about biting in

Some vids in a bit

Good effort mate :thumbs Site looks like it has potential :sly Are you bound by the tracks there already of can you trail blaze ?:naughty
Porridge + momentum is indeed the key :D

They dont give a fook mate. There was some lads in a knackered suzuki with box section welded across the front just smashing there way through parts of the woods :lol Dicks tbh, but there was some mental stuff, like 12 ft vertical drops into a mud infested bomb hole that LR v8 buggies were winching out the other side. its pretty hardcore tho, i prolly didnt do 50% of it as it was only passable by challenge type buggies with 35"+ tyres

Epic day tbh :thumb2

had a good day at Slindon today, took a Vet with me he turned out to be a good driver after the first few hair raisers, but he did bog it down here

near the top, but again lesson learnt today "do not let your dyneema get a knot in it", fortunately did not start winching with it, just took up the slack,, had a couple of bystanders helping and some how with all the rope laying around the knot was produced, it too flaming ages to tease it out, will not let that happen again, but a great day out, Rick

Nice to see a 30k amarok being 'used' and not just a school run vehicle:doh, would love one myself:rolleyes:

Look really gloopy, think we get a false sense of security up here cos it never looks like that even when you do just sink!

i was out yesterday too i'll upload pics l8r tho my camera decided it didn't want to take some of the videos or pics.

I even got to put my " you are now playing tow the landrover" sticker to use :thumb2 tho did belly out twice myself in the mud
