Hi,

Hopefully someone can help!!

I have a 1995 Terrano II LWB. One of the mounts that holds the step (drivers side front) has snapped. Where can you get hold of these? Nissan want to supply the whole bundle ie step plus mounts - they won't supply a mounting bracket only. And its at a cost!!

Anyone know where I can get a mounting bracket?? At a relatively low cost??

Thanks in advance!!

cant you get a mount made locally, ie machine shop, black smiths etc. :nenau

If they are the same as what are fit onto the Mavericks, they have three mounts. My driver side step has removed itself from the mounts and needs fixing back on. A bit of angle iron should do the job :thumbs
Cant help but wonder tho how the hell the welded alloy to steel brackets no wonder it broke off when my granny stepped on it... :doh

Hi guys, thanks for this.

There are only 2 mounts per side - possibly could weld back together but depends on how much corrosion there is on the existing brackets - I have a feeling as its snapped its not going to be in very good condition!!

Might be easier to geet one fabricated. Those in ebay are from a newer model (2000+) and arfe slightly different to mine I think. I'll need to take a closer look!!!

The steps themselves are mounted via 2 bolts per mount in a slider strip on the underside of the steps, which then bolt onto the mounts, so not welded at that point.

I'll have a proper look and see what condition its in!!

Thanks all!!

BTW I'm south wales
