Well the truck is going in for it's MOT tomorrow just wondering how big the list is going to be when it fails:doh O/S/R brake pipe is past it's best i'm sure of it but never had a chance to check it over due to the bad weather & ill health have managed to underseal it & gave it it's yearly oil change last week:augie

I have just put my 2001 Terrano through the first MOT in my ownership this morning. I was worried and I confess that apart from checking lights, tyres, wipers etc, I did FA to prepare it. I thought that I would have a list as long as your arm and I was prepared to scrap it.

So it was a major surprise that it passed

My man did mention sharp edges on the wings if they get that bad, he had a good look round and said that normal weak points were solid :clap

Well she past need to get the o/s/r brake pipe replaced as it's very close to fail standards, know the lads well & they said to give the front brake pipes a clean up & slap some paint on them:augie only other thing is he found a tiny bit of play in the steering but couldn't find where it was coming from so i'll have to have a closer look into that but he did say the idler seemed fine & couldn't find any play in it but think i'll add a grease nipple to it to try & extend it's life a bit further is it a 6mm nipple I need:nenau
