Well my local spanner man "Big Al" collected my R3mR today to take it for its MOT.

I usually have it done where I work at mates -rates but as I can't drive until next Tuesday and am off work for another month or so I have decided to get it done locally by a sound self-employed local bloke I have known for about 26 years.

Okay so it will cost me a bit extra but I know he will not rip me off - his Missus has a Maverick so he is into 4x4 's.

Well it passed just had to have a couple of rear ARB bushes and a rear fog lamp as the old one was badly corroded inside.

Yep MOT time for us as-well, 2pm today, hope she passes OK, had her a year, never missed a beat, all new rubber on her and things seem fine, except hand brake could be better. I,m taking her to were we bought her from because the hand brake was poor from day one, so if they pull her for that Ill be down their throats, I took my other car there for brakes a couple of months ago and nearly 400 quit later got it back, its a long story but I think they ripped me off but not 100% sure so I,m giving them the benefit of the dough and one last chance today. I must say from big to small garages I'm finding it difficult to find a descent garage in Sheffield they all seem to be rip off merchants that I have tried so far, or is it me getting old and sinicle.
