MOT - Steering

Hi

Daughters Terrano 2000 2.7 lwb failed the MOT - printout says - Steering linkage defective front centre.

Also failed on drop sill - rust eaten/holed nearside and offside rear.

Anyone got any ideas on what I should be paying to have this repaired?

Seems to be the usual bad description of the actual steering fault:doh
Can you ask the tester specifically what he means?
Steering components arent expensive though, checkout Milners offroad and ebay
The sills often go and without seeing it about £150 should sort it, but there are other methods of repair depending on damage:augie

check local motor factors for prices for bits, the guy who got my bits paid alot less then milners were quoting.
