Hi again everyone, took the T2 over for the MOT today and of course it failed, theres a surprise. The guy said it was down to the upper control arm bushings failing as they have play in them. These are the parts that supercrooks fitted no surprise there also. I wil now have to declare the T2 off the road untill I can find a mechanic who can fix it. I really have had enough of trying to find mechanics and parts to fix the T2 and may consider selling it.

mot failure

could you not get the parts direct from the manufacturer to save you having to go through supercrooks?is it the calmini stuff your after as im sure theres got to be more than one supplier.if its just bushes could you not get some made by someone like superpro or milners.

hiya buddy, yeah its just the bushes that I need, I will do a search for both those sites and see what I can find. But its funny the bushes that supercrooks fitted are the ones that fail it, I hate the fact these guys get away with it, I will now be without any transport for a while. Money is tight so I can't even think of buying anything else at the mo. I hope its just the bushes and nothing else more serious but I can't think of anything else it might be.

Hi Bluebull, sorry to hear of your MOT problems. If you decide to sell give me a shout.

Who are Supercrooks?

who are they

L A SUPERTRUCKS.they specialize in suspenson and body lifts but they do seem to have built up a bad rep as far as customer satisfaction and workmanship is concerned.but saying that i had a 2"body lift and a 2" suspension lift done on one of my old suzuki sj's a few years ago and never had any problems with it.but the suspension set up on them is much simpler than the t2.
