Just put the mistral in for its MOT, they say that it has excessive brake judder on one side. has been laid up for about 9 months ran fine to the mot station i suspect that being laid up the disc has rusted and covered in crap have suggested that they take it for a run and brake like hell! any suggestions if this seems feasible, also uneven pull up of the hand brake any suggestions.
regards mark

Don't take chances with brakes, get it looked at as the cost of any repairs surely has to be a pitance of having an accident.

you could try taking the callipers off and cleaning the sliders they can cause problems, and are you sure the judder is all brakes and not a partialy engaged / stuck hub?

there is a download on cleaning hubs!

It appears to be the offside only, dont think its the hub as she has never used 4wd and having driven it as far as i can tell drives and stops straight as a die no noise or anything and i have driven some old dogs!

a good place to start is the sliders then, it will give you a chance to generaly inspect the brakes at the same time.

As Plank says clean the sliders and coat pins with copaslip.common fault .
