Just taken delivery of my new (orange!) Challenge Pro waffle boards - five feet by two inches think....if they perform as much as they weigh they'll be great. Supplier claims they will act as bridging ladders too, carrying the weight of a fully-laden LWB D*f*nder.....

Got excellent service from fleabay bseller 4x4gearuk and at £75 plus delivery they won't break the bank - plus they are a VERY cost-effective alternative to buying kosher Ifor Williams trailer ramps, so now I can cart me lawnmower around.....and maybe even buy a quad bike..mmmmm, (note to self: don't let wife find out)...:naughty:sly

Hopefully my Milners parcel with my suspension bits will be here later....sadly the tidy little s/steel 6" 100w spots I ordered at a very reasonable £20 each were out of stock :( (note to self: don't let wife find out).

spots .... spots you say

i got spots they itch like fu. ck

(note to self) dont let the wife find out

no really i got spots for sale

me too - so I'll be leaving Abingdon about 10am to be in your neck of the woods around 1-ish if thats OK? get them wheels polished....and by the way did you get a chance to get them balanced, doesn't matter if not but it will save a bit of time (and I'll cover the cost)...plus, I'm only taking the flaps off - no naughty bodywork, so if they don't fit, I'm bolloxd :(

Not sure where spots can go at the moment, the later square headlight/fog combo doesn't leave any room on the bumper so might have to do a makeitifit and stick them on the roof somehow - I've got a spare set of Thule crossbars (the ones for use without roofbars) so could always cannibalise one of them by bolting an ally moulding of some sort to it....then find out where Pete got his plugs from.

Name check radar ping..............ping................ping..........
"then find out where Pete got his plugs from."
I got my plug from a marine chandler "Plastimo", but it wasn't man enough:eek:
Got fried when I rammed some 33 amps up it:doh It'll be ok below 18amps just.
I've now got a military version from her majesty's stores(dont ask).:sly
Proper tidy isnt it?

yes but i only want two spots, not planning a footie match!

so 2 x 100w spotties = 200W /12 = 16.7 amps correct?

or in your case twice that :)

ooh me Milners parcel just came with all those little orange bits and me droplinks......ecstatic... :D

forgot I'd ordered a set of rear polybushes as well, so might just be naughty and whip the rear ARB off for the weekend.
