Any know issues with fitting 15' Mitsubishi alloy rims on a Terrano - the tyres are CAMAC TERRA 4x4. 31 x 10.5 R15 LT

Any insight gratefully recieved...:bow

The tyres are a definate YES but 'might' need minor body mods...
The wheels might fit but i think the off sets different.?
Ya need to try 1 i think if possible.?

so actually you dont know :lol

:lol

I know Toyota does as I've tried it & can only guess & cant see why Mittsy wouldn't fit.!

As for the tyres they are a yes but might need a minor panel beat on the front arch's.!

i was under the impression all jap 6 stud alloys are the same. i have a shoagun alloy and an axle off a terrano on the floor in my unit. ill try tem tomorow for you.:thumb2

Yes Mitsi wheels will fit however they vary quiet a lot in both offset and internal size.

I have a set of 4 (5 spoke split rim style) here that have plenty of offset and a 5th off a later Shoggy that has less than a std T2 wheel. I remember |Cosmic had to fit wheel spacer with Mitsi rims as they were catcing his calipers.

Best bet is show us a photo if you can someone may have experience of that particular wheels.

Toyota wheels are the same, some Hilux rims are really really inset.

I wasn't sure but thats cleared that up :thumbs

Mittsy wheels are nicer in general compared to Nissan imo :clap

I was right about the tyres wasnt i Terranosaurus.?
Depending weather its a Mk1 or Mk2.!

think you will find early shoguns used a lesser offset , and thats why some rub, like toyota, vauxhall isuzu all have little offset
if going for new wheels make sure you have deep dish or big offset

if in doubt pop a pic on first and we will advise

My wheels show it the other way around Colin - its the erly ones with the most offset.

Vauxhall/Isuzu rims depend wether its a coiler or a leaf sprung IIRC coil spring wheels are the ones with a decent offset.

even modern vaux isuzu and toyota have poor offset im assuming they have springs the vaux i did , did have

as for shoguns the very first had crap offset then the ones with good arches had good offset, (mostly cos they are the ones imported loads)
i think the up to date shoguns have poor offset,

but as we are talking shogun wheels they are likely to be the arched one so promising , even better if imported , cos they might have nice rims

Picture of the said Mitsubishi 15' Alloy Rims - anybody had any experience with the them?

If they don't fit could they be made to fit with spacers?

Have fixed piccy link for you. Ebay have made it more difficult to link photos in now with the new viewing method.

Thay should work - certainly did on my old one.

You'll need steel type nuts and a thin wall socket to get em on and off though.

normal terrano wheels have an offset of 25mm so as long as the same Im try them on and see

Yes they did fit... Needed to remove the front mud flaps, and wind up torsion bars, plus a bit of trimming of the front bumper...

Will post some pictures soon.
