Hi, have been having a good rummage through the forum and have found lots of common problems that my car seems to be developing.
I seem to be gathering a list of 'things to do' . Being no use with a spanner myself I could really do with a good mechanic. So, recommendations greatly appreciated, I'm betweeen Bristol and Gloucester.:)

Welcome:thumb2 these motors are not hard to work on so you should be able to do a lot of the repairs yourself & if you pay the £10 membership fee you'll be able to see the down load section which talks you through each step of the way on the common problems

Also load of people who knowthere.stuff.

They are alwaye willing to help.

i have a workshop in gloucester depending on wha:thumb2t jobs need doing like it has been said £10 membership will save you loads on advice etc saved me a fortune so far

Thanks for the welcome guys.:)
Looks like I need to get handy with the tools, however after snapping a bolt just removing the side steps I'm not overly confident.
The rusty sills are the most urgent problem. Local garage wants to 'slap a plate over them' but I don't want them rotting again and would like a decent looking job as the truck is quite tidy despite being 18.

Ahhh yes the same old sill problem. There's some members posted different ways of sorting including fabricating whole new sections. My bolts snapped too and I expect so do most. One of the kind hearted members on here has offered to help me with these.
