mistral alarm fault

hi all

i have a 1995 mistral and there appears to be a siren under the drivers front wheel arch not sure if it is a factory fit
it appears to have started making a high pitched beeping and doesnt stop with the engine started
just wondering if anyone come across this alarm and knows how to switch it off or disable it or do i need to just try and disconnect the siren

I would say it's a after market add on by someone, as I'm pretty sure the Mistral did not come out with an alarm factory fitted.
See if you can find out what type/make of alarm and look for the circuit box and disconnect it from there.

my mistral didnt come with an alarm either
