Quote from a shooting friend, after using a (loaner) Mercedes G-class on a shoot in Germany.

"When using terrain tires tarmac is definitively not "the place to be". You need to be clairvoyant to be able to brake on time on wet tarmac if you are doing over 50mph. It would also really be helpful if the steering wheel would be connected to the front wheels."

But, he said, off road it was great.
