Before I break them, how do the cover come off? Lever from sun roof end?

IIRC it tucks under the sunroof end, and the windscreen end has 2 metal clips that you just need to pull straight down. then slip it forward to drop it completely.

Before you pull it right out, have a look how the wires fit back in, as they are very tight fit to get back and if not right, keep popping the cover back off when you go over a bump.
