Had some box section and tubing from my trailer rebuild so thought id have a go at tree\rock sliders. First hour got them shaped up. Gonn put some strengtheners between tube and box and gonna be welded to chassie its all with 5mm box and tube so fingers crossed they'll live up to a bit of punishment. Pic so far they're just balanced on side steps which will be removed. At least Mrs will still be able to get in lol

Looking good, only thing about welding them to chassis is they will be hard to work around that's why I opted for bolt on ones.

Yeah realise that but will be used regular so need them proper strong. Got inspiration from your elty absolutely love your truck gotta save now as want bigger tyres

Mark, don't save too hard... Just put the leg work in on eBay.
Don't always search the obvious be very vague I.e. "4x4tyres" "Mud tyres"
Some peeps don't know how to list or search.
I got my first two 37"'s for £55 they were just listed as cooper sst tyres:thumb2

I'm just waiting for theses to ware out first so I can justify the expense lol but they ain't waring very quickly lol and to be honest are awesome tyres id like to have same agin just next size up

Exactly the same predicament that I'm in at the moment with my BFGoodrich AT's, I'm going to wear them down to slicks which based on my new jobs current mileage situation I estimate to be around Christmas.

I want to go from 31 10.50 R15 to 33 12.50 R15 but it's a rare tyre size and thus a fortune :(

I want to go BFGoodrich again for sure

Thats not a bad price at all, especially for 12.50

Dont forget there will be something for fitting and balancing too, but overall a good price :clap

33 12.50 15 are a fairly common size mate. It's 33 10.50 15s that are a little harder to get.
Had an abundance of choice when I got mine last year.
