Desperately Need a MAF Unit!!!For my TDi

Suggestions please, quickest, easiest, cheapest, etc, etc, etc, !!!!!!

Anybody got a spare?

What price should I pay?


I cleaned mine yesterday and now it appears to be knackerd!!!!!

i got mine from ebay, it was around the £30-£40 mark and works great! what a difference!

When I told the chap at the Ford agent, that they were only £40 on eBay, he said "It won't last long, it'll be a cheap copy" and when I told him it was guaranteed for a year, he just said "huh!"

there are two makes used in the Mav and Terrano the bosch one and the hitachi, I have seen the bosch one on ebay new that is but never the hitachi so I have no Idea of the cost but I am using hitachi one in my terrano which came out of a maverick and was bought s/hand on ebay for £25....bri :smile:

New MAF arrived from eBay.
Fitted the sensor as the outer plastic cowl didn't fit!
Even had the same number on it!!
Anyway, WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
BOY! what a difference!
Now feels like a Supercar!
Never expected anything like this, it is really fast!
I really cannot tell you how much different it is.

I still have smoke on revving and decelerating/easing off the gas, but who cares when it goes so fast!!!!!!

Seriously though, just need to sort the reason for smoking and I'll be very happy, pity SHE still wants to swap for a Disco!!!![/u]

It great is'nt it it :wink: Why would you missus want a slow motor like a disco :roll: TBH I was looking at them a while back yeah they maybe a bit more room inside but they are so much wider so parking & greenlanes become tighter
