I have two maff sensors one the numbers are. Fooc2g2033 and other is fooc2g2061. Any idea which is correct one for my 2002 Lwb 2.7 tdi

The one ending in 061 works well gives good low end power but failing

And other one lacks low end power

Or should ther be a better one fitted they're both identice but feel very different.

Also will any terrano maff work with my truck

Check the numbers against the one fitted on yours to see which is the right one:thumbs Nissan have super seeded the part No a couple of times now but the later MK4's often use the 3L MAF:doh

The 061 was the one I took out of my truck but theses numbers don't seem to rally with anything

I'm sure I read somewhere a vauxhall one will fit. I'd like one that fuels early on to get more low end grunt but think maff amp is only option

think alex had one each.

search mass air flow to get threads as maf and other words are not found by
search as too short or too common,

That was for the later type 3L MAF's that were fitted to the 2.7TDI's towards the end of production but you can't just swap them over (old to new type) as the ECU has different mapping etc as far as I know. Alex tried an earlier model on his & IIRC it had low down grunt but became gutless after that:doh

Where is Alex when ya need him lol.

When I know it's a maff prob the engine dies completely and will only idle it won't rev. I change over the maff and runs fine but notice the maff I've taken out is slightly damp surely they'll take a little moisture! Think I'm just gonna save and get mechanical pump and bin all this electricle crap lol

Yep, you've got the expensive one, don't even try to ring nissan, 380 quid if I remember rightly.

Driven to automotive as linked above, call them and quote the number ending in 061 above.

They also do next day delivery if you are impatient like me.

Don't buy a copy one, it wont last :thumb2

Your a star bud! Have you bought one of these and was it ok

Yes I stupidly bought the wrong one in a hurry, then I called them and quoted the new number 061, they have them on the shelf, just not advertised, and unfortunately more expensive.

It did the trick, although my underlying problem was veg oil too neat.

Made the truck more pokey that's for sure.

I do have an 061 sensor here that came out of mine, wether it was faulty or not we will never know as I was running such thick veg :nenau

Couldn't you chuck in ya old one and if works ok I'll buy it unless you wanna keep as a spare

Ah here she is :thumb2

Morning dude, I'm still more than happy to post that tomorrow for you, I was on Facebook bit yesterday and a few people chatting about the maf with me, don't know how accurate the info is but worth a read.
