Afternoon all,
Got a real good question here that may have some of you cringing, so here goes,
Did my lift last year, and forgot to remove the rad cowling, so got me dremel out and my fluorescent light:doh, which is where my problem came about,

After I'd cut the cowling off I realised the light had dropped onto the maf and melted it, double:doh:doh

Still runs ok, but managed to get a good second hand maf, but the connection is melted on, is it possible to cut through the wiring:eek:, and reattach a good connection?

Sure someone will tell me if its possible or not, also it's an hitachi maf so I know I'm looking for rocking horse poo in a good connector, but you never know,
Thanks in advance

Yes, just cut connector off and resolder new one, tape wires well individually
