Does anyone have the measurements of the LWB springs so I can check if mine have them on already, Thanks

Theres not a lot of difference from the standard ones so with a bit of sag from age its not really possible to measure them to check.

SWB 400mm (15.75")

LWB 417mm (16.42")

So is it just the fact that they are stonger??

Is there any other longer springs from different vehicles which would fit?

The lift comes from them being slightly longer and slightly stronger - don't know about other springs- except landrover ones don't fit they are too large diameter.

Spring constant N/mm (kg/mm, lb/in)
SWB - 25.5 (2.6, 146)
LWB - 29 (3.0, 168)

Its unlikely that yours will have LWB ones in I'd have thought, its not well documented that you can do this to get a lift on these trucks, certainly no one on here had heard of it till I did it less than 12 months ago. Well known on Pajeros and some other trucks so its possible though I suppose.

Hi hummingbird, would the principal be the same on a Patrol ie LWB onto a SWB. Gordon

Seems to be pretty consistent across all types of vehicle - I suppose it depends if the rear spring seats on the body are in the same position but they are on most vehicles. If you can get hold of the sprig specs from a workshop manual its easy to work out roughly how much lift you'll get, just need to masure the fitted height as you truck stands now.

yes it is. you can put LWB onto SWB. you could even put ones
from the Y61 onto your Y60.

a set of 2 inch from a Y61 would lift your Y60 by 3-4 inch,
it did mine!

Hi HB  am I right in thinking that a set of LWB springs will give about 1-1&1/2" lift on a SWB T2/Mav :?:

i dunno these jap trucks eh such a simple idea shame the landy boys cant just swap springs for quick lift!
