LWB Exhaust - 2005

Anyone with a 2005 LWB Terrano fancy doing me a favour??? :augie

Can you have a look under your T2, on the passenger side, just infront of the rear wheel and see if your exhaust is attached to a bracket there?
Mine looks to have a mounting point (on the actual exhaust) – but its not attached to anything, and I cant see where it could attach (unless I have lost the mount)
The exhaust doesnt seem to be loose though?

Mines an 02 plate so should be the same. I have a thumping bracket on the nearside FRONT end of the silencer box connected to a bracket on the inside of the chassis member....

Just got home and checked and that bracket is there and attached on mine, just slightly back from that is the one I mean... heres a pic

Area in the square...

As you can see, it def looks like it should be attached...of the rear of the silencer. But I cannot push the exhaust anywhere near it to line the bolt up to the bracket???? Theres about a 10cm differance!

Admin - please feel free to shrink the pic-couldnt work out how to do it!! Sorry!!

Just been out with the torch and looked - yes I have that one too and it IS connected - to an L-shaped bracket welded on the back of the silencer box. The rubber loop is stretched a bit but definitely connected and supporting the exhaust box.
