well thought would test all of my 4wd stuff in the new t2 on the drive...

was going to jack up one rear wheel then in 2wd just gently see if
if car wanted to move rather than just spin lifted wheel.

thought better of that so jacked up and tried to spin wheel by hand.
level ground, wheel moved few degrees either way then stopped.
reckon lsd is good as if wasnt there wheel and prop would spin freely
around main box in neutral.

did similiar for front and that wheel spun as did front prop easily
naturrally in 2wd. showing to me the open front diff allowed 'drive'
to flow past it from wheel to prop.

sorted...agreed? time for some mud!

if you jack up one front wheel it should spin freely and the front prop should not turn, if however you turn the front prop the after about a quarter turn the hub should lock and then turn the wheel, same on other side, Rick

correct for trucks with auto hubs,

my mk4 has fixed hubs, still your comment shows the drive coming down
prop to free wheel, past grounded rigid wheel.
