Right then my next project underway is to boost the power of my Mav. tractor with some LPG :naughty
Got a bunch of stuff already sorted from Mr Gas but need to know this:
Does the Nissan 2.7 TDi engine shut off all diesel when closed throttle?
Also does anyone know what sort of power the bottom end is good for?
TIBO reckons he's getting clutch probs over 170 BHP:augie
Does anyone do a heavy duty clutch kit for these?
Ta

Bottom end will be fine. You will run into HG problems waaay before the bottom end gives bother.

LPG...

BIG turbo...

Whats next...

Nitous :sly :D

No 'fraid not, I'm advised it's not an option on oil burners:augie

Course it is!!

Very often used on oil burners for one or two reasons; either to quickly spool a large turbo e.g when drag racing or to minimise lag, and/or to add oxygen to an overfuelled motor to clean up the smoke.

Generally off road use though!

Oooh, tell me more:sly for off road only ofcourse:augie
Might be something for the project motor to come:naughty
