It turns out the spare bottom ball joints I had stored are the wrong ones for my truck.
If anyone needs a pair of of them for a pre '97 truck they're 10 quid plus post.
Pretty sure that's all the std TD trucks and not the TDi :thumbs

Do they have grease nipples?
