light surrounds

Hi, any one changed there front light surrounds and grill from painted / coloured to the chromed look ones, if so are tehy a simple swop over job?

swap from same 'mk' ie mk2 should easy.

be cautious of trying nissan chrome grills from
mk3 and 4 back onto mk2 as different shape.
easiest to explain is bumper has a cut out that
deeper grill fits into.

hmm, looking at that mav v t2 would say fogs on mav are slightly higher
plus angle of gap between light surround and grill is different.

so you'll end up with at2 with ford front and wrong badge which can be
swapped or covered up.

what about matching chrome mirror covers too whilst your at it.

As far as I know Nissan did'nt do a chrome grill for the MK2 T2 only the later MK3 (2000 onwards) so You would prob have to fit a Mav one
Just remembered some halford stores can chrome plastics so that maybe another option but it maybe costly :roll:
