Hi people

My main beam & high beam, drivers side,plus my spot lights went off other night,fuses all ok,could this be a switch? or relay? I am bobbins at electrics!

Hi Savaloy,
When I got my Terra about two years ago I had a similar fault only on mine it was the left hand main beam wouldnt work, anyway after changeing battery clamps, fuzes, checking circuits etc it turned out to be the light switch (stalk) itself. I found that if I applied a little bit more pressure to the switch as i turned the light stalk it would work. To sort the problem a liberal dose of wd40 into the switch/stalk and lots of moving the switch through its different positions soon had it working as it should, anyway it might be worth checking on yours as well, good luck.

thanks for that, had sevsral more goes at it but there is a short somewhere in the system,and i cant find it! can get both sides on now with main beam, but when you but it to high beam or flash, pop! another fuse, so its booked into an auto electrician on thursday "CA-CHING!"

Have you checked the switching arm ?
