seen a hilux i think lifted by the leaf springs then just large tires fitted, was basically a standard truck lol, funnily enough, the driver was about my age! IMAG1380-1.jpg

I'm not sure what u mean mate ... Looks fine to me

Can't tell if he's used lift blocks from pics, which are a cheap way of doing it rather than upgraded springs but either way it will out perform a Terrano with its solid axle up front.

They are leaf over axle as stock

No. 2wd ones are, but 4wd hilux is axle below leaf

Tbh I can't remember seeing a 4wd truck with axle above leaf ...

Ahh, so he must of just stick bigger wheels on as the running gear didn't look nodded, apart from the steering.

could of been a body lift

that has been lifted thats for sure

Yeah, just can't work out how. As running gear/ susp and shocks look standard spec.

probably just put the axle under the leaf springs or/and some longer top brackets on the leafs.

Longer spring hangers? Maybe
Used to have one of these when i aws fitter in a quarry drowned it one day when i drove into lagoon to retrieve a life ring that kids had thrown in found out ecu was in passenger footwell ended up jumping in up to me waist to hook chain on from tractor:doh

seies landies and sj's were axle over leaf.

putting axle uner leaf is easy way to gain
3 to 4 inches almost for free

has been frowned upon at times, think as
potentially if axle breaks free its really free
rather than being trapped inside frame and
spring.
