OIl & air pumps - my experience

The oil pumps are a great little tool I have a very old Sealey version- small drawback is they really only work on quite hot engine oil plus the dip tubes supplied are often on the short side with many manufacturers.
Another practical issue is when you have finished using it there is oil in the pump & pipes that tends to leak everywhere after you think its drained and has been put away.

Not sure which air compressor they are selling - I bought an Aldi one a few years ago that was cordless - it was pretty useless and went in the bin within 12 months due to poor battery performance. If its one that plugs into your lighter they are much better - if you carry one in your car they seem to fall apart quite quickly from vehicle vibration. I'm on my fourth in about 20 years my current one is the longest survivor - a RING unit - I keep it at home! My old Mini Cooper had one in the tool kit - that was in bits in the package when I bought the car.
