How much lift can you get on the adjusters alone (from factory setting)?
And how much lift before moving splines?
Asking for a friend... ;)

It really depends on how much the front has sagged over the years, and where the current adjustment bolts are already tightened too. On my car, on the passenger side, there was quite a lot of adjustment still available, but on the drivers side, it had already been wound right up, and was still lower than the factory recommended wheel centre to wheel arch height, so I had to re-index the drivers side just to get it back to where it should be, then I had to re-index both sides to do the actual lift.

Physically, you can only lift the front about 1 1/2" above the factory setting anyway, as otherwise you will be sitting against the top bump stop and Mr MOT man does not like that, plus any higher and it eats front CV's.

I'm tempted to go the other way with mine and fit some low profile tyres. :naughty

I remember discussing this with you at the Rustic meet.

Have you still not got around to doing it yet? Have you ever looked at the download, it's what I used all of those years ago when I first did my Maverick :thumb2

I started on my torsion bars last Tuesday, a liberal application of PlusGas in preparation when i looked at how rusty the fuel filter clamp was.
