Jet Washed the car the weekend just to get all of the surface mud off from a bit of fun I had a few days ago :sly

I've noticed that I had water dripping through the map light :doh

Easy enough to seal it up? If so what shall I use?

Is it roof lining out jobbie or can I do it through the map light opening if I pull it out

I noticed my seal had completely from the base of my ariel couple of weeks back, I just put som gutter seal round it, job done :thumbs

I had this exact issue, remove plastic with light buttons, nut underneath for aerial, for good measure I replaced the aerial and used a mastic too, redid everything after cleaning all surfaces for rubber aerial footing. And job done :thumb2

Edit - the plastic is pushed one way and it pop out of locating lugs. Someone will confirm which way. I may even have an old thread on it (very old)

Here's with the panel off :thumb2

Nice to have such access! Since my T2 is a commercial conversion with a raised roof and the factory idiots forgot an access hole, I had to cut a hole in the fibreglass roof lining to replace the antenna base.

...Easy enough to seal it up? If so what shall I use?...

Rip the aerial out and use one of your €$¥*#@€% cheap fog lamps you bought ...

No I'm not miffed in anyway that I didn't get any....:augie

:lol:lol:lol
Good price that, well done.
