I imagine most will know this, but thought i`d post it up anyway.

The drivers footwell was wet and I felt a drip of water on my leg whilst driving the other day. Quick inspection found the rooflining to be damp where it meets the plastic trim that runs up the windscreen.

Immediate thought was leaking/blocked sunroof drains.

Anyway, fixed it this morning:

Remove grab handle, two screws behind the plastic covers.
Remove the drivers sunvisor. The one near the window has a plastic cover hiding the two securing screws.
Remove the two plastic blanking plates above the window. Tight, but just a pull out job.
Peel the door seal away from the bodywork.
Gently pull the plastic pillar trim away.
Then gently pull the roof lining from the clips that hold it to the roof around the window and the sunroof. It is only a fibre board type thing,so be gentle.

Bend it down and you can see the sunroof drain, mine had come adrift so the drain was just running onto the head lining. I think I must have done this when I took the plastic arches etc off to clear them of mud. I suppose it could just have dropped off, so I secured it with a tie wrap.

20 minute job, no more leaks..........:thumb2
