Since I bought the Mav 5 years ago I have searched for an elusive small oil leak:doh:doh I had blamed the rocker cover gasket
Finally found it, the hose from the vac pump to the crankcase.
Can only see it with wheel off and skirt off, clips tightened up a lot, possibly first time in 20 years.
Oil seemed to be coming from bell housing, must have been blown back there

I have never seen this on my Mav in over 20 years lol....:lol:lol

No, all Jubilee clips on hoses do need checking from time to time.
8-10 years back I had an antifreeze leak from the top hose on the rad, an extra turn or so, on the Jubilee clip sorted it.

An oil leak I had once, was the oil pressure switch next to the oil filter, had to replace the switch, even though it still worked.
