Good day with plenty of incidents, The terranos did proud with a total of 4 t2s/Mavs with the group. Saturday was organised by FWDC, but the welsh lot was in one group with a few extras and did what we are best at. Getting on with it!

Sunday was our own thing, 4 terranos in brechfa area. One to go down in history I think :lol  :naughty

Some cracking pics !! Looks like an awesome place/lane.

Impressive articulation on those terranos !! What mods to get that kind of articulation ? Body lift and longer shocks I'm guessing ??

Great pics fez

Guessing the articulation is a result of arb s been removed

Great stuff. N-y-m is good fun at the moment. Be aware that the washouts are going to be repaired at some point fairly soon - though I think that entire lane is going to be lost to us when the wind farm kicks off.

That is very impressive articulation!

Main thing is MY +2" longer shocks and then the arb off :thumb2 (£40 each for the shocks)
Body lift is only there to accom bigger tyres

I think body lift helps as it lets the tyre go higher where if it was original height it would stop it. But putting bigger tyres on would cancel that out.

I really need to get my mate with his manitou to test flex to the max.

How much of an affect does that have on road manners ?

I tend to be quite nippy around the bends so does it just lean more, or do u have to drive noticeably slower ?

On the very first picture, the very last car looks like a Mini, well at least a
mini body on another 4x4 chassis :nenau :nenau :nenau

Or am I seeing things.....?:lol:lol:lol

yep it's a mini, Check the Happy valley panorama he's there too.

As for handling if you want a decent offroader expect road handling to be reduced.

Rear arb has very little effect , you'll get a tiddly bit more roll but that just keeps the wheels ON the road. We cane ours :naughty
