I followed the 100+ Land Rovers that were on the heritage run today from Land Rover, Solihull in Lode Lane all the way to The Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon

Some beautiful vehicles on display no two the same and all with their own stories :)

Whether you love them or hate them I think they are fantastic vehicles and would have a Defender like a shot if I could afford one that wasn't a complete rot box lol

I've had a couple of early S11a/111 LR's and loved them, apart from the noise and leaking.
I had lots of fun trawling around in them and being amazed where you could get with them.
It's a pity they don't have such a good record for reliability with the later ones, but then, that can be said for most vehicles, including ours.

Shame really, they are made in Britain and are one of the oldest 4x4 vehicles in the world, just let down by poor finish in a lot of cases
