I made this one from bits in Wickes

The only thing is, some of the tops of the KTC containers do not have as big a hole cut out, so it leaves you with 2 options when you get the ones with the smaller holes...

either use a sharp knife and make it bigger... Trouble is, I had a couple of times where the off cut fell in the oil and was a real pain to get back out...

Or, in the end, I used a sander to take the edge of the fixing flange down in size, so it always clears...

Nice Wellers :augie :lol :doh

I feel like half my life is spent pourings cubes of oil into the car :lol I had a dream about it one night, my solution is very rough and ready but works well, I have a length of exhaust flexi and a 6" car care £4 funnel from Morrisons that is just the right diameter to push into the flexi and it's super tight and rigid, so much so that it's "freestanding" if you like and doesn't need any support or extra hands, I've had the funnel full to the brim before just for a laugh to see if it could hold the weight, it did!!! Phew

I find the only problem is how much oil stays in the things you use, and takes its time to run off, which is why I ended up going for this, as it keeps it as short, and simple as possible, and the tube is smooth, so it runs through better... as you can see, the top cut off a Redex bottle makes a perfect thing to store it in, and allow it to drain without going every where... Once every few months, I run it through the Dish Washer to clean it up as it gets sticky over time.

I've got my own set I'm still trying to shift :doh

I've got one of those tiny bins that you see in small bathrooms under the sink etc, I've just removed the foot pedal, I've lined the bottom of it with an old towel and then paper towels on top of that, have to admit not much runs out when it's in there and I only have to replace the paper towels every now and again
