I have the standard Nissan 16" Alloys and 235-70-16 Tyres .
I noticed today that at 62mph or 100kph on the dash clock, the sat nav read 88kph this seems a large discrepancy, So how accurate is the information from the sat nav or is it the info sender on the car :nenau

they all do it, speedo`s a bit optimistic :D
when mines doin 60 sat nav say 55 56 mph

Optimistic? Mines bloody delusional
Speed says 80 sat navigation says 68
:-(

Same with the Patrol'. When mine reads 70mph im actually doing 62mph:lol

It is all to do with legislation again, manufacturers would get it in the neck if they show a speed lower than real, but they are allowed to deviate the other way in order to be safe, so that is what they do, mine now with 31's on is almost correct, yes sat nav is accurate but to compare it with your speedo you do need to hold a steady speed for short while to allow for fluctuations, Rick

sat navs are very accurate.
I had 265s on and it was doin actul 30 at39.
its a bit better with 31s on at just 5mph over
perhaps me 33s will make it true .

your sat nav is on its way rick. test your speedo in comparson
