Probably - what I'm hoping is that someone with a Mistral may have changed either their speedo or their speedo face from kph to mph, so having a spare kph one that I could buy.Are kph speedos not more In mistrals than terrano's?
Unfortunately my eyesight aint that good anymore!cant u just use one that has both mph and kph?
Thanks for that rayf3262, unfortunately, as my T2 is a pre-intercooler model I have a cable-driven mechanical speedo, so it has to be either a face-plate change or an overlay on the outside of the plastic window, and it's looking more and more like it's going to be an overlay, but thanks for the suggestion anyway. You could use an electronic speedo corrector.
Normally used to correct speedo error when non standard tyre sizes are fitted, but would also allow you to effectively change the MPH figure to KPH;... just need to change the M to a K then!

When you modify your gearbox, diff ratio or change to a large circumference tyre, it may result in an inaccurate speedometer. This kit alters the speedometer signal up or down from 0% to 99% of the original signal. With this improved model, the input setup selection can be automatically selected and it also features an LED indicator to show when the input signal is being received. Kit supplied with PCB with overlay and all electronic components.
