Ok we are having a lot of thefts lately so I want a way of killing the starter or some thing. Any ideas people?

Put a valve in the rear to disable the fuel pump....
But if they really want it, they will tow it!

I know if it's going to go it will I just want to stop the oppetunest.

I just bought one for an isolator for the winch but could be wired up as a kill switch.
Has a key which you remove when it's off.
Cost £8.99 off of flea bay.

Isn't there a fuel cut off solenoid on these trucks?
Failing that, fit a hidden switch in line with the starter solenoid.

Or fit some interlock wiring, eg, brake and clutch pedal have to be depressed, and err... windscreen washer has to be on, or what ever you like.
Or have an old fashioned dip switch on the floor... Keep it simple, you don't want to disable it every time you leave, far better to have a fixed starting procedure.:thumb2

Or consider a key code switch system.. eg enter a four digit code...

To be fair, the terranos already have chipped keys and immobilisers, the thieves wont be sitting on your drive with a laptop you know :augie

They will be picking or towing that mother :naughty
