Keys in the car with the door open alarm?

How do you turn it off?
It didn't work in my car for the last 2-3 years but after replacing a battery terminal today it now works again. I don't want it to though.

I have used the search button and found one thread on the subject but no real answer.
Anybody know?

theres a switch under the bonnet that if you disconnect it wont arm the alarm, not sure about the immobiliser tho, or you can disconnect the speaker in the rear of the car, it is in the side panel on the drivers side iirc

Panic over, it has stopped doing it.
No Idea why and I do have dim memories of this happening a few years back when I disconnected the battery for summat.
One of the most annoying features of many modern cars and I'm glad it's stopped.
