Key Fob failure

Hi Guys,

My key fob stopped working last week so I replaced the batteries but it still doesn't work. Do I need to reprogramme it and, if so, do I just follow the download instructions or is it likely to be something else?

Those little switches are a sod to solder I just got a new fob from ebay and reprog'd it. David.

My key fob has fallen off the keyring - the rubber bit that it hangs from has gone brittle. As I've only the one key and fob, fancy getting another - how do I get theright one for my Terrano Mk1? No alarm, but does have a highly secure flashing LED to protect the truck! (NATS I assume)

All the listings I found on the bay were for key blanks with the buttons included, mines not on the key, but a separate fob.

that wee light is for the immobilizer i thought it was just a deterant too til i had the dash out last week n found the nats immobiliser box, don't think i have an alarm tho.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the replies. Tried to reprogramme the fob using the download but failed each time. Finally gave up and took it to a place in Sheffield who sorted it for £30 cash - so not too bad.

Fingers crossed it doesn't go again.
