Might have be patient but I WILL have a terrano at the end of it :D

A really good idea to find out potential problems about these trucks, before you buy one, at least you will know what to look for.

Rust is the biggest killer, so look under those rear carpets under the back seats, and all the other places mentioned on here.
Most niggles can be sorted very cheaply, or even free with the most basic of standard tools. Just a blob of grease fixes some things...:thumb2

Welcome.

Best regards,
Rustic

Dangerous things happen when i wield a spanner but the download section is wicked! Never seen so many step by step instructions before! :thumbs

Welcome & enjoy the hunt for your dream Terrano:thumb2 Took me 18 months & looked at over 40 & it was worth the wait as the last one I said i'd ever look at is now sitting on my drive:D TBH I wanted a very low mileage, never been used for pulling, spotless inside etc me picky ? oh hell yes:lol but hey I did settle to having a scuff on the front bumper & a couple of tiny rust spots (standards must be slipping:doh) but we're not planing on getting shot of this one as we still regret selling the SWB we had for a stupid Discovery 2 which was no where as good off road :doh:doh:doh

Awesome sounds like you took your time then. so you guys give the terranos a big thumbs up for offroading then? youtube videos are scarce compared to erm
*cough* discoverys *cough*

There is one I am looking at atm, but it is nearly 200 miles away, im making the dealer take shots of underneath and boot ect. I have also noticed the tape player says "CD CHANGER" on it, but cannot see a cd player? Whats the deal there? :nenau

cd changer can be in the back or under drivers seat.
nissan want £400 plus for a new changer, or fit an after market head cd player.

I think this is fitted under the Driver's seat if factory fitted.:thumb2

I don't like silver motors & what have I ended up with yip a silver motor:doh Know what you mean about leather seats when having a dog, leather & claws don't mix very well. The S & SE both had fabric seats the SE+ or SVE (SE+ renamed SVE on the very last one made) have the leather. Have to say the hair off my Jack Russell doesn't stick/weave into the fabric of my seat very well which makes a nice change:D

yeah, its fabric all the way for me, i've got half leather seats atm in my estate and the dog has a habit of jumping over the boot into the rear seated area.

and as good as black motors look id be too worried about scratching it :lol

Don't have that problem as mine sits in the front on the wifes lap:lol love black motors & my last Terrano was black & found colour magic polish great for hiding the scratches, did one lane & it sound like nail down a blackboard got out & looked at the sides of the truck & it looked as if someone had dragged a rack down the sides of it:eek::doh:doh after a good polish you couldn't see them just the odd deep one but it was very faint
