Just got back from France early yesterday morning, having covered 2500 miles in the Terrano, after only owning the beast for only a month before going away i left Newcastle a little nervous driving an 11 year old 4x4 to france.
But i need not have worried, it carried 6 of us and a roof box full down to folkestone no problem, an over night stop then onto the early ferry and 7 hours of french motorway driving, and i still managed to break their speed limit:augie
We found the beast great on the French country roads, being able to see over the hedges etc.
Checked the beast over before we left to come home, it only need about 1/2 litre of water to top it up!!!
Did the return journey back in 1 go, 7 hours to calsis and 5 hours to newcastle, a long trip when your the only driver, but the the terranos comfort made it ok.
all in all the beast did great, never missed a beat, i even had 2 people wanting to buy it off me in france, but i said "NON":thumbs
