Well she's recovering and not as much pain now. Her feet and lower legs are still badly bruised. She has similar to whiplash and bruising from the seatbelt.
Monday the hospital told her to start putting weight on her broken foot which I thought was a little early and sure enough it swelled like a balloon.
I finish for Christmas tomorrow so hoping to get her out a little in the car as I'm sure these four walls are getting a little dull now.
Insurance appear to be dragging their heels at the moment so will get back on to them at the weekend.
Main thing is she's recovering and it could of been so different so it'll be a good Christmas :clap

Take what the hospital say with a pinch of salt (to a certain degree)
The lady knows how she feels & when she's ready to put weight on it she will :thumb2 :thumb2
This obviously isn't always the case as there are some moaning minnies out there ( I know as I was in a relationship with one once
)
I'm pleased she's making good progress.
To ask about her welfare isn't a problem :thumb2 :thumb2

Hope the recovery keeps moving forward ok.
I always think the patient knows best and it will take time to heal the physical damage. Bruising alone can take over a week to disappear longer if you are on Aspirin or other drugs. I know it's old fashioned but my wife uses Witch Hazel to bring out heavy bruising.
