I guess your 2" lift doesn't help,
for the rear axle the standard jack should be ok as your 2" lift won't affect this but larger diameter wheels will.
I guess the car manufacturers keep costs down by gving the minimum required to just do the job. ( the mav jack doubles as a boat trailer jack as well, with a suitably shaped block of hard wood on the top).
Screwfix do some low cost bottle jacks, but I am always cautious of them slipping. I use a trolley jack at home, sometimes with block of wood to give extra height and then use axle stands, a minimum of 2 in the area I am working.
I lift the rear under the rear diff and the front on the 2 jacking points but that is on a maverick..
A short length of wood (sleeper) may help under the jack to spread the load and give extra height, but CAUTION as you don't want it to slip.
ALWAYS USE AXLE STANDS.
best regards, Rustic

Baxter - where are you jacking on - as said above the standard jack should be fine directly under the axle, a lot less work too just jacking one wheel up and not the whole corner of the truck.
I've got a full size trolley jack for home use and a hi-lift for out and about as well as the std jack.

Use standard hi lift with wheel mate adapter and carry 4x4 trolley jack from Halfords.
