Well, I have put this in the non vehicle specific section, as it is not a joke.
I checked the oil on the wife's Picasso today, seemed ok so I wiped it and dipped it again, this time there was 2 inches missing from the end
The plastic dipstick had broken off at the end.
This is a common fault with Citroens and Peugeots, the plastic becomes brittle and the end often comes out at oil change time.
Another issue, I looked on ebay for a replacement and they are around £14 with postage.
I rang the local Citroen dealer £7.69 inc VAT.....
So it's worth shopping a round and often the Main stealers can be cheaper.:thumbs
