Well I have to admit I've given in to the darkside and got a project jeep to work on.
Has a couple of issues to work through but will post up some pics of the progress:thumb2

Two tips:-

Don't trust any exposed metal edges, all are razor sharp and designed that while your hand will pass it in one dirrection, it will cause mortal injuries when you try to extract it.

Don't take it for a drive, or you will want one.

It's a non starter at the moment so put my spare battery on charge overnight and will fit it in the morning and take it from there.

You know how LandRover drivers wave at each other, so they can prove if they have managed to get away without working on the truck that day, well with Jeeps, instead of oil and grease on the hands, we wave to show there are no cuts and scratches on the hands and that we still have all our fingers.. :augie

I friend of ours in New York (sorry for the name dropping) picked us up from our Hotel in his Wrangler Open Top - the hood was a bit like a Mini Moke or a Morgan. lol

Oh yes it was a Petrol model straight 6 methinks it was well old when we were in NY in 2003 !

Still not looked at this project yet.Been busy re building a new shed to replace the knackered 12 year old metal one.
Fully charged battery ready to go on so fingers crossed it will bring it to life:thumb2
