I've got the hots for some 4x4 action in Iceland.
Defo going again just as soon as I get some more cash together.
I feel a vat return coming on :naughty

You and I must operate on the same harmonic plane.
My feet are itchy to.
Fancy some Autumn/Winter camping?

There are some sites near me that offer areas for a bit of all-year round wild camping. Yep, open fires!
Break-out the Dutch oven!
I’ll make a few calls.

Nice, let me know if you need me to do anything. Might have to buy a new warmer sleeping bag though lol

Good sleeping bags can take your money Neil.
I've got a clutch of military 'arctic' grade sleeping bags here.
No need to spend your cash yet.
Try one of mine first.

Thank you Dave, I was looking at bags earlier and some of them were 600 quid. Once I'd picked myself up and brushed off the dog hair I quit looking

Neil, If you're covered in dog hair, you can get your own sleeping bag!:lol.

:lol:lol:lol
Lay down a few more times and you won't need one at all:lol

It’s only a small dog it would take years to weave my own sleeping bag lol

I suffer horribly from the cold and I wouldn't spend on a 4 season bag.
For winter and colder temps I use two bags.
A pod from Go Outdoors https://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/camping/sleeping-bags/sleeping-pods and a normal three season bag stuffed inside. I can't remember, but I might have used a duvet too when we went to Stafford at the beginning of the year, but it was -6 degrees or something stupid.
After a tip from Paultrol, I've got a sheepskin on order that I'll use on top of the mattress to see how that works. Hmmmm! Sheepskin....

I wear a military softee top and a pair of softee trousers inside a an arctic bag... just right for me.
Oh, and fisherman’s socks.
:)
