Since I'm having issues changing gears since 2 days I've did a little research on the iternet and just checked the things like the master and slave clutch cylinder and read about broken brackets.

Well, te top half is fine on mine, but well:

Is there an easy fix by changing the brackets or is is quicker to switch the complete pedal?
I've already mailed a company over here if they have a used pedal, but they are closed until monday morning.

Little update, tried to drive to the store but can't select any gear anymore :doh
Gonna call the garage mondaymorning and see it they can tow it away...

Yes pedal bracket cracking has been an issue, they can be removed and welded up with a bit of strengthening metal added, easy enough job, Rick

I had the same but not as bad on my truck a couple of months ago.

Even though I know my bracket is now fine as I replaced with a good bracket I still have intermittent trouble getting into first, pedal feels different. I’m thinking next job will be flexi rubber hose too.

I see no reason why the brackets can’t be repaired but I have heard they’re never right after a repair.

Good luck

With the backet in two pieces I have some doubts as well.
I'm gonna ask if the garage has a good welder, if not then replace it.

Does anybody know the Nissan part number for the bracket or a shop?
Shopping in the UK doesn't have to be the problem
I've tried google but couldn't find it.

Found a complete pedal at a yard.
Today a handy neighbour came by and when the new pedal arrives we both think the problem will be sorted :)

Cant you start it with second gear selected or does starter not operate in gear ?
Many years ago the clutch cable on my Alfa broke, drove her back from North Wales to Derby without a clutch, just very synchronised gear shifts via neutral !

As a tip for you. When I replaced mine I had to remove lower dashboard panels to reach the top bolt. If you do the same be very careful tthe mirror switch as this seems to love self destructing.

Thanks for the hint! :)
We will be gentle to the mirror switch.

If the car was standing on the driveway this was a possibility. Problem is that the car is standing on a smalle parking lot we've made and I have 4 meters in front of the car before hitting our house :doh
Otherwise I would have tried it.

Yesterday my handy neighbour changed the clutch pedal and the result is amazing :clap
Changing gears has changed on the very best way. Was never so good since I own my Terrano.
