Is this normal? non standard wiring?

Not noticed them on the UK spec, ones, and the loose wire must be wrong.

I wonder if they are for things not on your car, what sort of specification is yours, e.g., heated seats, electric windows, electric sunroof, electric mirrors, aircon, rear wash/wipe, headlight washers, alarm?
 
Spare wiring

The two spare plugs look pretty normal and the bare wires look as though the plug has either come adrift or has been removed and used elsewhere.

If you remove the top cover you should be able to trace the wires to the appropriate part of the relay box . My r3mR had lots of spare slots for extras that were not fitted to my particular model. You can of course put a Voltmeter on the loose wires and see if they have any current going to them.
 
i suspect that if the wire to the stop solenoid has been cut then it is possible that a after market immobiliser has been fitted and then removed .... just a guess , ignore me if you wish I know nowt :augie:lol
