IS my pump dead

My pump may be deceased, if so could cncfabs give me a price on a mech pump and pedal etc if i have to take it off i may as well do the job properly and get rid of the fbw thanks.

Sorry dont have one dont think it will be straight forward as rick says electrics also injectors are different doubt it will run properly even then wouldnt be supsised if the intercooled model had bigger valves as well

thanks lads, whats confused the problem more is i,ve found a mech pump thats supposed to have come off a 2001 terrano on ebay ?, ah well back to the drawing board.

Give Nissan 1st a bell at Welshpool....they ought to have what you want....tell them you got recommended from here and tap them up for a discount. The main lad there (Mark) knows his stuff.

To be honest smeg I wouldn't bother changing from fbw.I have seen a few bargain fbw pumps on ebay(Bosch and zexel)make sure you get the right one as they have different timing gear wheels ...........they are straight forward to fit .

P.s what makes you think the pump is dead ?

okay, the filter is in the only banjo bolt fuel inlet front of pump, tried flash codes no joy, so tried to get system diagnosed finally today found someone who has the 12 pin plug, have to wait till he checks the system, mean time i,ll have another go at flash codes, the only pumps i,ve seen on ebay are mech ones, i,ll have another look.
