Hi Guy's. I know there is practically no difference between the Terrano and the Maverick, but I am having problems trying to remove the original radio from my 1993 Mav: I have bought the correct removal rods from Halfords but the unit will not budge at all, not even a fraction, although it seems a little loose in the frame. Can anyone help please? I have already scoured the help pages but after reaching page twenty still could not find a solution, any help at all would be more than appreciated.
Thanks, ironside.

oooh..

ok, if like mine bin the removal rods its bolted from the sides....

carfully remove the heater vents and surround and you can see a lot better then..

Radio

Hi Zippy is correct they are bolted or screwed in.

It may be easier to remove the whole fascia as the vents can be a bit delicate.

Four screws from memory - two under the hazard light cluster and two by the ashtray,

The top is held on by lugs.

hope this helps
