Interior Lights!

All me interior lights are off!!
All Bulbs and Fuses checked in the cab and in engine bay all the dash and lights for electric windows,heater etc all on.
Just the map lights,back luggage light and centre light not coming on??
Anybody had this b4,or know where the problem is??

Hi Cosmic, the 1st thing I would do is take out the door switches & give them a good clean up & make sure their getting a good earth to the body :smile:

Would that stop the map reading lights though??

The old screws can get a bit rusty over time & you can lose your earth because of it & a good clean up of the spade conector onto the switch will prob help aswell, another thing you could try is run a earthed wire to the plug see if they come on :smile:

Don't think this would effect the map lights so it maybe worth dropping down the light & checking the contacts & testing the light unit in the house with say your CB power pack to see if they come on :smile:

I've not got the map lights on the mav but I did find that the power for the interior lights runs up the nearside A pillar behind the plastic as I tapped into it for a caravan spotlight mounted on that pillar. Might be worth checking there to see if theres power coming up the pillar. could be somethings worked loose at the first light it goes to.

All the door switches are clean and the wire and plug at the back are clean..
Guess I'll have to dig deeper like HB said!! :| :lol:
